X-MINING Nickel Powders

Nickel Powders means nickel in granular form.
Each company has a different method for manufacturing nickel powder,
1) Vapor-phase chemical reduction method, in which each vaporized nickel compound is reduced,
2) Atomization method, in which high pressure gas is sprayed on the molten metal,
3) Reactive crystallization method to crystallize a nickel compound solution with a reducing agent.

The reactive crystallization method Sumitomo Metal Mining also uses can produce nickel powder with an excellent particle size distribution (uniform particle size).

The main application of this nickel powder is for internal electrodes of MLCCs. This MLCC market is dramatically growing with the increase in smartphones for emerging countries and the increase vehicle electronic devices in EV and PHEV.
