Material Properties
One of the best features of our ultra-fine nickel powders (MIT Series) is a uniform particle size distribution derived from our unique wet process. In addition, there are few impurities in our nickel powder. Even organic-derived impurities commonly found in fine metal powder produced by the wet process is almost negligible. Our nickel powders have spherical shape and smooth surface and there are few agglomerated or consolidated particles in them. These features make them suitable for use in various functional inks, slurries, and pastes. Please refer to the following for a lineup of ultra-fine nickel powders.

What is the wet-chemical synthesis method?
Wet-chemical synthesis is a particle synthesis process in which chemical reactions are carried out in water or other solutions. Wet-chemical synthesis is generally used to synthesize a variety of materials, including nanoparticles, metal complexes and oxides.
Our ultra-fine nickel powder is produced by a wet synthesis method and has a uniform particle size distribution realized by our unique technology.
For the wet-chemical synthesis method, please refer to the column “”Crystallization”” below.
