X-MINING Rare Earth Elements

Rare Earth Elements are a generic term for a total of 17 elements: scandium (Sc) with element number 21, yttrium (Y) with element number 39, and lanthanoid with element numbers 57 to 71.
Rare metals include rare earth elements, as well as lithium (Li) with element number 3 and titanium (Ti) with element number 22. The relationship from the viewpoint of the elements is "rare earth" < "rare metal".
Among the lanthanoids of rare earth elements, promethium (Pm) with element number 61 is slightly few occurring on earth naturally.
It is sometimes called light rare earth up to neodymium (Nd) with element number 60, medium rare earth from 62 to 64, and heavy rare earth from 65 to 70.
Although the content of lanthanoid elements varies depending on the region of production, they are naturally mixed in the same ore. If we want to get a single element, it is necessary to do multiple processes for the separation such as solvent extraction. Therefore, when necessary elements are obtained, unnecessary (less demand) elements are also produced at the same time.

We will post the details of the multiple process in the column at another time.
